(senior) contract manager [developer/epc background required]

Development Contracts Admin Team needs to work with departments to define, competitively bid, negotiate and award best in class design and development services for our development projects globally.
What We Expect from You
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Project Management, Cost Engineering or related disciplines
At least 10 years of work experience with 6 years gained from Quantity Surveying or related fields, with exposure gained from Developer or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) companies a MUST
Team management experience is ESSENTIAL while your previous positions held as Contracts Administrator, Subcontract Administrator, Prime Contract Administrator and/or Prime Contracts Manager is HIGHLY PREFERRED
Quantity Surveyor qualification is crucial with legal knowledge as an advantage
Familiar with construction procurement process with commercial awareness while proficient in MS Office with Ariba, Primavera and Sage based software knowledge an advantage
Able to advise on and develop existing departmental standard operating procedures
Good at identifying risks and opportunities, ensuring adequate resources are provided to manage situations
Capable of coordinating members of both the commercial team and supply chain consultants to ensure project specific tasks are undertaken timeously
Fluent English is a MUST while good Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be an advantage
You will be based in Hong Kong for this role, with business travel to Macau when required
What You Will Do
Provide guidance and mentor junior members of the Department to develop and deliver comprehensive design and construction contracts
Deliver project cost reporting details for the Director
Provide strong contractual leadership to the Procurement team
Prepare cost information for the purpose of capital funding projects
Support the implementation of procurement strategies within the Department
Develop consultant and construction contracts with contractual inputs
Review and comment Project Schedule of Rates provided by Cost Consultants
Handle change management of consultant and construction contracts based on quantity surveying professional knowledge
Review and comment variation assessments provided by Cost Consultants for settlement of project final accounts
Provide legal and contractual advice to the Project team
